Indus Design School has announced Aikyam, a premier design fest led by students, celebrating creativity, connections, inspirations, and core values. Taking place from July 18th to 20th, 2024, Aikyam will feature insights from esteemed industry professionals, interactive exhibits, and engaging workshops. This festival is dedicated to nurturing a positive design culture, promoting ethical and impactful design practices, and fostering strong community bonds.

Kicking off on July 18th, Aikyam will begin with SkillUp workshops, offering students the chance to explore various artistic endeavors such as tote bag painting, clay modeling, and Madhubani painting. These workshops are designed to unleash creativity and refine artistic skills. Simultaneously, the Curated Curiosities flea market will showcase student entrepreneurship, featuring handmade crafts, artisanal foods, and unique items.

On the second day, July 19th will spotlight the film industry with a panel discussion titled “Cinema Beyond Bollywood.” Oscar-nominated student filmmakers Sankhajit Biswas and Ranjan Ummakrishnan will share insights on independent filmmaking, global trends, and storytelling. Following the discussion, the Aikyam Film Festival will showcase exceptional student films from prestigious universities across India. Industry experts will evaluate the submissions, providing an inspiring platform for emerging talent.

The festival will culminate with a captivating and stylish fashion show, highlighting the diverse talents of Indus University students.
