Ex-army personnel shared their experiences and recalled the days when patriotism resonated deeply in their hearts, and they were filled with immense courage to face every challenge. These thoughts were expressed during a symposium organised by the Panchkosi Foundation at Jai Vihar Extension in Baprola.
In this program, more than two dozen ex-servicemen recounted their roles during significant moments like the 1971 India-Pakistan War, the Kargil War, border vigilance, and emergency situations. Their memories filled the hearts of the attendees with pride and inspiration. The local ex-servicemen included Rajhans, Devendra Singh Gusain, Dharma Singh, BD Joshi, PC Joshi, SK Mandal, Umesh Kumar, JS Rawat, SK Tiwari, Chandrama Bhakt, Laxman Tiwari, Ram Sajeevan, Dilip Singh Tanwar, Narendra Kothari, Manish Rathore, Rameshchandra, Joginder Singh, Gajendra Kumar, and others.
On this occasion, Sushil Kumar Dev, the President of the Panchkosi Foundation, announced that all these veterans will be honored at the upcoming Republic Day celebrations on January 19, 2025. He mentioned that the foundation celebrates Republic Day and Independence Day every year as grand festivals, featuring various competitions, painting exhibitions, and patriotic cultural programs performed by school children.
All attendees at the event appreciated the contributions of the veterans and urged everyone to draw inspiration from their experiences. The efforts of the Panchkosi Foundation not only honor the ex-army personnel but also send a message of patriotism and dedication to the future generations.
