Inbase Urban Fit S Review: Apple Watch-like look, amazing Bluetooth calling, price ₹4,999

Inbase Urban Fit S Review

Inbase Urban Fit S Review: Inbase has recently launched the Urban Fit S smartwatch in the Indian market. Its speciality is a 1.78-inch AMOLED display and features like Bluetooth calling, voice assistance, and a rotating crown have been provided. The company is currently selling it at an introductory price of ₹4,999. While its MRP is ₹12,999. After using the smartwatch for a few days, we have brought its review.

Its box is quite unique from the rest of the smartwatches sold in the market. The box is quite tall in size and all the necessary features have been mentioned on it. Apart from the smartwatch, the charging cable and user manual are available inside the box. The smartwatch is available in four colour combinations – Black, Silver, Green and Grey. The black colour has been sent to us for review.

Its design may remind you of Apple Watch. It has a square-shaped display. The rotating crown, mic and home screen button are given on the right side. While the speakers are found on the left side. It gets a silicone strap and the smartwatch is quite lightweight. It has a total weight of 45 grams, due to which you can easily wear it throughout the day.

AMOLED display

Inbase Urban Fit S has an attractive 1.78-inch AMOLED display. The smartwatch has been given a zinc alloy casing. You can adjust the brightness of the display in the smartwatch. The display can be read easily even in outdoor conditions. However, the feature of Raise to Wake seems to be missing in it. That is, it is not activated when the wrist is moved, you have to press the button. Its Always On Display feature is also good. It continuously keeps telling you the time through a digital or analogue clock. It also gets the facility of 100+ watch faces. Some of which come with watch face graphics.

Enjoy Bluetooth calling

The bluetooth calling feature has been given in the smartwatch. In-built HD features allow users to make and receive calls directly from the smartwatch. We called some of our friends through this for testing. During this time we have got very impressive voice quality. There is a very clear sound from the speaker of the smartwatch and the person in front does not even know that you are talking to the smartwatch, not from the phone.

Lots of health-related features

Smartwatch is full of health features. The Urban Fit S smartwatch comes with a premium urban health suite that features a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, blood pressure, blood oxygen and menstrual cycle along with a physiological cycle reminder app. Urban Fit S offers 120+ active sports modes that can track your daily activities.

Apart from this, a sedentary alert, a hydration reminder and a breath training feature are also available. It also has voice assistance and in-built memory. Other features of the smartwatch include Find My Device, camera and music controls, calculator, flashlight and weather forecast.

How long does the battery last

The smartwatch gets a 250 mAh lithium-ion battery that gets fully charged in about 2 hours. With the Always-on display feature enabled, it still has 33 per cent battery life even after running for 4 days during our testing. That is, it can last about 5-6 days. Almost the same claim has been made by the company itself. However, its battery can last up to 30 days in standby mode.

In a budget of less than ₹5,000, this smartwatch directly competes with Realme Techlife Watch R100, boAt Watch Primia and Noise Colorfit Ultra buzz. Almost all types of health features are available in this smartwatch with Bluetooth calling. But what makes the Inbase smartwatch different from others is the AMOLED display and Apple Watch-like look. If you like both these things then this smartwatch can be a good option.
