Maruti S-Presso: Best features at competitive prices (Car Review)

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki launched its micro SUV S-Presso. Maruti has launched this new car in the market at a very competitive price. The S-Preso has a length of 3565 mm, width 1520 mm and veal base 2380 mm. Std. And the height of the LXi variant is 1549 mm and the height of the VXi, VXi + variant is 1564 mm. The front look of the Maruti S-Preso is quite bold. It has a high bonnet line, chrome grille and large halogen headlamps. The LED DRLs are under the headlight. The front and rear bumpers are quite heavy, making the S-Preso look bold. This small SUV from Maruti is available in 6 colors.

Price on road:

Maruti Suzuki has launched the S-Preso in 4 variant levels. These include Standard, LXI, VXI and VXI + variants. It is priced between Rs 4.69 lakh and Rs 5.91 lakh.

Interior design:

The S-Preso’s cabin is in black color. The design of the dashboard is similar to that of the Future-S concept. In the middle of the dashboard is a digital speedometer and tachometer. Just below this is Maruti’s SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system. The speedometer console and touchscreen infotainment system are inside a circular outline, which resembles a Mini Cooper car.


The S-Preso has a 1.0-liter BS6 petrol engine. This engine generates 67hp power and 90Nm torque. The 5-speed manual gearbox is standard in the small SUV. Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) option is also available in VXI and VXI +.

Maruti claims that the S-Preso has a mileage of 21.4 kmpl in the standard and LXI variants and 21.7 kmpl in the top variants.


The S-Preso offers more than 10 safety features. ABS with EBD, driver side airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder and speed alert system are all given in the variant. Dual front airbags are available in the top variant. At the same time, other variants will get a second airbag as an option.
Speaking of braking, the S-Preso has ventilated discs at the front and drum brakes at the rear.


Maruti’s small SUV features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted audio and voice control, front power windows, power steering, rear parcel trail, remote key-less entry and reclining and front sliding seats. Features are available.
