New Delhi: Best selling smartphones in 2021: Despite border disputes with China, Chinese smartphone brands remained the preferred choice of Indian people in 2021. If we talk about the best five smartphone companies in India then four of them belong to China. Samsung is the only company on this list, which is not China-based. Overall, Chinese smartphone companies have a share of 80 to 90 per cent in Indian market. Moreover, Chinese companies are also first choice of Indian buyers while purchasing a 5G smartphone. Chinese smartphones have a major share of the smartphones sold in our country.
According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) report, India’s best selling smartphones are OnePlus Nord CE, iPhone 12 and Galaxy A22, which have been most liked in the third quarter of 2021. India is world’s third-largest smartphone market for 5G smartphones. Where 10 million units were shipped in the third quarter this year. In just nine months, from January to September in this year, a total of 17 million 5G smartphones have been shipped in the country.
Xiaomi branded Redmi 9A, Redmi 9 Power, Redmi Note 10s smartphones have been the most liked in India. These are lower and mid-range smartphones. Also, Poco M3 and Poco C3 were among the most sought after devices in India during the third quarter.
On the other hand, Samsung’s Galaxy M and A series smartphones has been very high. Samsung Galaxy A22, Galaxy A12, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 are very much liked in India.
Vivo brand’s V series and iQOO series smartphones have been well-liked in India. Similarly, Vivo’s X series has been in very good demand.
The names of Realme C11 (2021) and Realme 8 4G and Realme 8 5G are among the most liked smartphones of Realme in India.
Oppo brand’s Oppo Reno 6 series smartphone is being well-liked in India.
