New Delhi: Upcoming cars in April 2021: Thought the year 2020 has been the worst for the auto sector across the globe, but another fact is, many big car launches took place during this period. Now, the carmakers have big expectations for 2021 and many big launches are also scheduled in the coming months.

So, if you are planning to buy your dream then here is the list of upcoming cars in April 2021:
Citroen C5 Aircross
Expected launch: April

French automaker Citroen is set to enter the Indian market with the C5 Aircross mid-size SUV. The SUV will get a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine, which will get 400 Nm of peak torque and a maximum power of 177 PS. At present, the company has not announced its price but it is expected that its price will be around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). It is being said that it can be launched in the first week of next month. The company has also started taking bookings for it.

Next-generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Expected launch date: April

Maruti Suzuki has finally decided to update the first-generation model of Celerio which is being sold in the market for the last six years. The company is working on the next-generation model of the Celerio, which has been seen many times during testing. The company is working on it with the YNC codename and it is being said that it can be launched soon. The new-generation Celerio will likely have a 1.0-litre K10B three-cylinder petrol engine, which will generate 67 PS of power and 90 Nm of torque. Apart from this, a petrol-CNG powertrain is also expected to come with the hatchback. As a transmission option, it will include a 5-speed manual as well as an optional AMT.

Tata Hornbill
Expected launch: May

Tata Motors introduced a micro SUV concept called HBX at the 2020 Auto Expo. Now, it is ready to launch this SUV under the name of Hornbill. After launch, it will become Tata’s cheapest SUV in India, which sits below Nexon in the company’s SUV portfolio. The entry-level car will be equipped with features such as a floating touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a semi-digital instrument cluster, split headlamps with LED DRLs, Harman-sourced audio system.

Next-generation Mahindra XUV500
Expected launch date: April

The Mahindra XUV500 has ruled the mid-size SUV segment for a long time, however, competition has grown exponentially over the years. Mahindra is expected to launch the next-generation XUV500 soon. Spy shots suggest that the next-generation Mahindra XUV500 will be offered with features such as a digital instrument cluster, which has a larger freestanding touchscreen system, flush-type door handles, a panoramic sunroof as well as some advanced drivers. -Assist Systems (ADAS) will be safety features.

Hyundai Alcazar
Expected launch: April

Upcoming cars in April 2021

Hyundai will soon launch a three-row variant of the Creta, which will challenge the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari as well as the Next Generation Mahindra XUV500. Compared to the Creta, the three-row alcazar is expected to get an updated front grille, rear flat roof, an additional rear quarter, a redesigned C-pillar, a larger rear overhang, and a re-designed tail lamp.
