Citroen C-5 Aircross is going to make its debut in the Indian market next month. The company has started taking the booking. The company has also come with exciting pre-launch offers for customers. The car is set to be launched on April 7. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine. This engine generates a power of 177 bhp and a peak torque of 400-newton meters. The Citroen C5 is also excellent in terms of mileage and ARAI has certified that the car will give a mileage of 18.6 kmpl. It also has an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
The Czech Republic’s automaker Skoda had unveiled its much-awaited SUV, Kushaq, on Thursday. However, the company has not yet made any official announcement regarding its launch, but it is believed that this car will be made available for sale in India next month i.e. after its launch in April. The Skoda Kushaq is the company’s first SUV to be built on the MQB-A0 platform. Along with this, it is the first SUV designed for India, which has been built in India. Its engine setups will include a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that provide a power of 110bhp and 147bhp respectively. With this engine, the option of a 6-speed manual transmission and 7-speed direct shift gearbox is available.
South Korea’s legendary carmaker company Hyundai is also set to launch its much-awaited 7-seater SUV Alcazar in Indian Market next month. This car was spotted several times during testing in India. According to the reports, the company will officially introduce Alcazar on April 6. However, the sale of this car will begin by the end of this year. According to the information, this car will be launched in three variants — a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The AMT and manual transmission are also likely to be offered as a gearbox.
