US-based software company Autodesk has appointed Ashish Kumar Mittal as Director, Public Sector for India and SAARC countries. Mittal, who has over 30 years of experience, has deep knowledge of the IT industry. In this new role, Mittal will spearhead Autodesk’s public sector strategies and execution in India.
Mittal’s key responsibilities in the new role include leading the public sector sales team and driving business development across government initiatives. He will strengthen the company’s presence and partnerships by engaging with key stakeholders and leaders in India and the Asia Pacific region.

Mittal holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering, which has given him technical strength as well as deep experience in government sales, business planning, partnership management and leadership development. During his career, he has held leadership roles in well-known companies such as like Zenith, HCL, Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe and ESRI India. He has consistently driven business growth in the public sector, maintained profitability and built long-term relationships with customers and partners.
