5 times more gold than the gold possessed by India found in the Sonbhadra Hills

New Delhi: There was a time when India was called the golden bird, but times changed and people from all over the world kept looting this treasure. Now, 3,350 tonnes of gold worth about 12 lakh crores found in the Sonbhadra district of UP has once again raised India’s hopes. According to the report of the World Gold Council, at present, India has a stock of about 626 tonnes of gold. At the same time, the gold found in Sonbhadra district is about 5 times more. After this, it is believed that India can be included in the top-3 countries in the world on the reserve of gold. In the survey of Geological Survey of India (GSI), there is a possibility of more than three thousand tons of gold buried in these hills.

During the survey, apart from gold in the hill of Sonanchal, iron and other minerals are buried in large quantities. According to the current price, the value of this much gold is about 12 lakh crores.

According to the report of the World Gold Council, central banks around the world, including India, are buying gold. It has been said in the report that for the 10th consecutive year, central banks have made purchases. In the year 2019, 15 central banks of the world bought 650.30 tonnes of gold. At the same time, 656.2 tonnes of gold was purchased in its first year i.e. 2018. According to the report, from 2010 to 2019, around 5019 tonnes of gold has been purchased by central banks across the world, i.e. 500 tonnes of gold has been purchased every year. Earlier in the decade, 443 tonnes of gold were purchased annually.

In simple words, then 57 tonnes of gold has been bought more every year. America has the largest gold reserves in the world. He has 8,133 tonnes of gold. Which is 76.9 percent of its total foreign exchange reserves. Germany’s name comes in second place. Germany has a total of 3366.8 tonnes of gold. Italy is in third place in the Gold Reserve. It has 2451.8 tonnes of gold, which is 68.4 percent of the total foreign exchange reserves. Its share of the total foreign exchange reserves is 73 percent. France is fourth in the highest gold reserve in the world. It has a total of 2,436 tonnes of gold. Russia’s name comes in fifth place in the World Council report. Russia has 2241.9 tonnes of gold, which is 20.2 percent of its foreign exchange reserves.

China is our neighbor in sixth place. China has 1948.3 tonnes of gold. Which is 2.9 percent of its foreign exchange reserves. Switzerland is named in the seventh place in the World Gold Council report. It has 1,040 tonnes of gold. At number eight is Japan. Japan has 765.2 tonnes of gold, which is 2.8 percent of the foreign exchange reserves. India is at the 9th place in the World Gold Council report. We have a reserve of 626 tonnes of gold.
