CBI traces 894 shell companies in last four years

New Delhi: The CBI, during the investigation of 108 cases in the last four years, detected 894 shell or fake companies. Giving this information, Company Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in the Lok Sabha on Monday that 30 cases were registered against 104 shell companies during this period.

Irregularities such as giving false financial information, bank fraud, criminal conspiracy, criminal misconduct etc. were found in these companies.
