Deal of Rs 7,636 crore between Nokia and Airtel, will work on 5G network

There has been a partnership between Bharti Airtel and Nokia which will strengthen Airtel’s 4G network. Also, there will be help from Nokia in developing 5G network. Through this deal, Airtel will work for 5G network in all the nine circles of the country. It is being said that this deal has been done for one billion dollars i.e. about 7,636 crore rupees, although there is no official confirmation about the deal amount.
Nokia is the largest 4G vendor in Airtel’s network. At the same time, Nokia will install 300,000 radio units for the 5G network. After this deal, Nokia has said that it will provide the necessary equipment and services to Airtel. Work will be done on increasing connectivity in areas where Airtel’s network is weak.

On this partnership, Gopal Vittal, MD & CEO (India & South) of Bharti Airtel said, “We have been working with Nokia for over a decade and are happy to improve the capacity and coverage of our network. .

After this partnership, Chairman and CEO Rajiv Suri said, “We have worked closely with Bharti Airtel for many years and are happy to carry on the long-standing partnership. This project will enhance their existing network and provide best-in-class connectivity to Airtel customers and will also lay the foundation for 5G services in future. ‘

Under this deal, Nokia will help Airtel through SRAN (Single Radio Access Network) products. Explain that through SRAN the telecom operator helps in managing 2G, 3G and 4G networks. Apart from this, it also helps to increase the capacity of the network.

Please tell that at present, India is the second largest telecom market in the world. By 2025, the number of unique mobile users in India will cross the 92 million mark, of which 80 million will be 5G users.
