Petrol, diesel to be costlier; Govt comes out heavily on people

The price of crude oil fell by 20 to 30 percent in the last few days due to Corona virus. This also had an impact on the prices of petrol and diesel. Due to which petrol and diesel (Petrol Diesel price) decreased by Rs 6 per liter in less than three months. Now the government has increased the Excise Duty Increase of Rs 3-3 on the prices of petrol and diesel for recovery. The excise duty increased by the government has come into effect from 14 February today.

Oil price reduced by about 6 rupees in three months

After the start of 2020, the economy slipped as the coronavirus spread in the world. Due to the steep fall in the prices of Crude Oil every day, the prices of petrol and diesel were also cut. This is the reason that petrol and diesel prices have been reduced by about Rs 6 per liter in less than three months. Seeing the fall in oil prices, the government on Saturday increased excise duty on it.

Duty on petrol and diesel, so much price

The government has imposed excise of Rs 3-3 per liter on petrol and diesel. Which has been made effective from 6 am on Saturday morning. This has led to an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel.
