To address these questions of students, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has released its academic calendar. Under this calendar, classes for all students will start from 1 July.
These classes will be started for the old students and the same students will take admission in the new college session from August 1, 2020. The examinations of the students who have survived the examinations will also start from July 1, 2020.
Apart from this, AICTE has also given necessary guidelines to the affiliated colleges and institutions. AICTE has stated that no institute will increase admission or other fees for the academic session 2020-21. Apart from this, the new season will start from 1 July. This rule will be applicable only in the colleges of AICTE. The calendar will be applicable to PGDM and PGCM (PGDM / PGCM) courses. AICTE has also given strict instructions that if any institute does not follow the given guidelines, action will be taken against the institute concerned as per rules.
