The Central Board of Secondary Education has given marks for the remaining papers based on the new evaluation scheme for this year’s Secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th) classes which could not be held due to COVID-19 epidemic and lockdown. According to the new evaluation method released by CBSE, the marking system and results for the remaining papers for class 10 and class 12 are to be announced based on these rules:
(A) CBSE 10th Result 2020 or CBSE 12th Result 2020 for students of all Secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th) classes, whose papers have been conducted, will be announced on the basis of marks obtained in various subjects of the examination.
B) All students of both Secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th) classes who have taken examinations in more than three subjects, the average score of the three subjects with the highest marks for their non-conducted scores will be given for the papers.
(C) All the students of both Secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th) classes who have taken the examinations in only three subjects, the average marks of the two subjects with the highest marks in their unsuccessful scores will be given for the papers.
(D) CBSE informed that there are very few students in Secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th) classes, especially from Delhi, who have taken only one or two subjects exams. The result of such students will be announced on the basis of performance in internal/practical/project assessment for the subjects covered and remaining papers. By this rule, the students whose results will be declared will be given an opportunity to appear in the examination of those subjects later if they want.
