Delhi School Reopening: No physical classes till situation improves, says Manish Sisodia

New Delhi: Delhi School Reopening 2021 Update: An important update has come out regarding Delhi School Reopening 2021. Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia has said that schools in Delhi will remain closed for the time being till the situation becomes favourable. Physical classes will not be organised in all government and private schools in the national capital. Significantly, due to the epidemic, the Delhi government had prematurely declared summer vacation from April 20 to June 9. After this, online classes have been started in all schools from June 10 itself.

On Monday, the Education Minister inspected the construction work of a total of 172 new classrooms in Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya Kondli, Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Kalyanpuri and Government Co-Ed School, IP Extension and Preet Vihar. Took and shared information. “Keeping in mind the safety of the children, we are not going to invite the children to the schools for the time being,” said the education minister. “On the other hand, however, we are completing the construction work of the new and proposed improved classrooms at a fast pace. So that when students return to classes, they can be welcomed into new and colourful classrooms with more facilities.”

Will schools open after August?

Construction work is going on in the government schools of Kondli and Kalyanpuri, they were informed to be completed in June 2021 as 97 per cent of work has been done. These schools will get 20 new classes. On the other hand, information was given about the completion of the construction work in the school located in IP Extension by the end of July and in the school of Preet Vihar by August.
