NEET Re-Exam & Result 2020: NTA issues notice regarding NEET re-examination and result, here’s new schedule

NEET Re-Exam & Result 2020: In compliance with the instructions given during the hearing on October 12 on a petition filed in the Supreme Court, the National Examination Agency (NTA) has issued a notice regarding re-conducting the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (Undergraduate) i.e. NEET UG Exam 2020 for the candidates who could not appear in the exam. The notice also informs about the NEET exam results. As per the notice issued by the agency on the official website,, on October 12, the exam will be re-conducted on October 14 from 2 pm to 5 pm for the candidates who could not appear in it. The same will be done in shifts.

An official information has been issued by the NTA about the NEET Re-Exam 2020 as well as the released of NEET 2020 Result. Accordingly, the result for the NEET-UG Exam 2020 held on September 13 and NEET re-exam to be held on October 14, will be released on October 16. For the updates regarding the declaration of results and the scorecard and rank, the candidates must keep visiting the official portal,

According to the notice, instruction to conduct the exam on September 13 in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) suggested by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on September 10 were issued. The SOPs were issued for the candidates living the Covid-19 positive or containment zone and the exam was held subsequently. Thereafter, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court by the agency for re-conducting the examination for these deprived candidates. During this hearing, the Supreme Court had directed to conduct the examination.

However, the NTA has appealed to continue to visit the examination portal and the official website of the NTA for more information regarding the re-exam and the result.
