There are three other girls in the village and boy who is from the accused’s family. Those three girls and boy celebrated birthday of one of them on the day of incident. Later, they asked the victim that why didn’t she join them. And the boy came to her house and pretended like he is fainting away. Then the victim rushed to his house to inform his family, he told.
Later, in the night the accused allegedly abducted the girl from her house and gangraped and later slit her wrist causing her death. Moreover, the accused hanged the girl from a tree with the help of her dupatta, the family alleged.
According to the victim’s aunt, the police worked well initially for two-three days. But when they allegedly received bribe, they stopped working. Instead, they started threatening the victim’s family.
