Maharashtra Anti Corruption Bureau gives clean chit to Ajit Pawar in irrigation scam

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Maharashtra has released NCP leader Ajit Pawar from charges in the irrigation scam. According to the affidavit submitted to the Bombay High Court on November 27, Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation (VIDC) chairman Ajit Pawar cannot be held responsible for the actions of executive agencies, as Pawar has no statutory obligation.
