Tehsin Poonawala raised questions on Hyderabad encounter
Tehsin Poonawala has tweeted on the action of the police against the accused involved in the Hyderabad Doctor Murder case. He wrote, ‘Some MPs in Parliament demand public litching of the accused. Instead of fixing the system on behalf of the government and a thorough investigation into the matter, the police is doing an encounter. The system is broken and we are destroying it. Not only this, we are moving towards a lawless country.
‘We are moving towards a lawless country’- Tehsin
In another tweet, Tehseen Poonawala wrote, ‘Two mistakes cannot make one right. We are rapidly moving towards anarchy. The government cannot participate in the encounter in this way. Will the same happen to Asaram or High Profile Sanger or Chinmayananda? Or is such an encounter meant only for the poor?
Why were the accused not shot in the arms and legs? ‘- Tehsin
In the next tweet, Tehseen Poonawala wrote, ‘Police records video reconstruction for reconstruction of any event! Will the evidence and video be given to the courts? Once we validate an encounter, we demolish the entire justice system. We cannot work outside the Constitution.
