Unnao case: MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar convicted || Know all about Unnov Case Verdict

New Delhi, Unnao Case: Delhi Tis Hazari court on Monday convicted MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the case of gang rape by kidnapping a girl in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh in the year 2017. The court reserved the verdict for 16 December after hearing all the parties on 10 December. The sentence will be debated on 19 December. At the same time, his female colleague Shashi Singh was acquitted by the court giving the benefit of the doubt. Shashi Singh fainted in court after hearing the verdict. Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma of Tis Hazari court on Monday has convicted.

Kuldeep Sanger started crying as soon as convicted

Hearing of the case daily on the order of the Supreme Court

The hearing of the case was transferred from Lucknow to Delhi on the order of the Supreme Court. The court of Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma is hearing the case daily from 5 August. The court also tried sections 3 and 4 of child sexual offenses and section 120B (criminal conspiracy) of Bhadanson, 363 (kidnapping), 366 (kidnapping and forcing a woman to marry), 376 (rape) ) Had framed charges under the relevant sections.

At that time, the court had said that on 4 June 2017, Kuldeep Sengar, along with his colleague Shashi Singh, conspired and committed a sexual relationship with a 16-17 year old teenager without consent in the name of getting a job.

Know about Unnao Case

The matter came to the headlines when the victim and her mother tried to commit self-immolation outside the residence of Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath. A case under the Arms Act was registered against the victim’s father on 3 April 2018 and he died due to excessive beating in police custody.

On 28 July, while returning to meet uncle, the car of the victim, his aunt, aunt, and lawyer was hit by a truck in Rae Bareli. Aunt and aunt were killed in this, while the victim and her lawyer were injured. The injured were admitted to AIIMS by bringing the Supreme Court from Lucknow to Delhi, where they underwent treatment for several days. Currently, the victim is staying in Delhi with her family, as the family refused to return to Unnao.
