Gorantla Rajendra Prasad Passes Away: Tollywood producer Gorantla Rajendra Prasad passed away on 7 July. According to family members, he breathed his last after a long illness. The veteran producer said goodbye to the world at the age of 86. The entire Tollywood industry is in shock after hearing the news of Rajendra Prasad’s death. Let us tell you that a day before the news of the death of editor Gautam Raju also came out from the South film industry.

Gorantla Rajendra Prasad co-produced several films with the late popular producer and Rana Daggubati’s grandfather D Ramanaidu. He started his career in the industry with the film ‘Ramudu Bhimudu’ in 1963. This was his first production venture. He produced the film with D Ramanaidu, which was a super hit. Along with this, he started ‘Madhavi Pictures’ and gave blockbuster hits. Some of her superhit Telugu films include ‘ANR’, ‘Manjula’ along with ‘Dorababu’, ‘Lakshmi’, ‘Kurukshetra’ and ‘Player’. Most of the films produced by Rajendra Prasad have proved to be blockbusters.

Industry mourns

A day before, the news of the death of popular editor Gautam Raju came from the Tollywood industry itself, which shocked the people of the industry. The 68-year-old editor was undergoing treatment for his kidney-related ailment in Hyderabad for several days. Despite his best efforts, his health deteriorated during the middle of the night, and he eventually passed away. Several celebrities from the Telugu film industry have offered their condolences to the family at this difficult time.
