Corona second wave: From night curfew to closed schools; know about all restrictions

New Delhi: The second wave of Corona in the country has become uncontrollable. In the last 24 hours, the highest number of cases reported so far was 1.26 lakh. Corona report of more than 60,000 people has come positive in Maharashtra alone. During this period 685 people have died across the country. 322 in Maharashtra and 62 people lost their lives in Punjab. The recovery rate has come down to 91.67 per cent.

In view of the increasing cases of Corona, many states have imposed strict restrictions on themselves. Lockdown in many states to fight Corona, so many states have imposed night curfew. In the midst of all this, schools and colleges have been closed in most of the states of the country. In view of the rising coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh, night curfew has been implemented in many districts. Noida and Ghaziabad administrations have also issued orders to close all educational institutions till April 17.

The administration has stepped up preparations to deal with Corona and has also issued guidelines for people to take precaution and stay alert. Night curfew in UP; 8,490 new cases found in 24 hours

There have been 8,490 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh. The number of active cases is 39,338. So far 9,003 people have died from the infection. Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur have received 50 per cent of cases yesterday. The state government has announced night curfew in 8 cities. This includes Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Meerut and Bareilly. The order to close all schools, colleges and coaching institutes in Noida and Ghaziabad till April 17 was also issued. Night curfew will remain in force from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. During this period, there will be relaxation of movement of services and goods.

Total lockdown of three nights-two days in all cities of MP

In view of the increasing corona infection situation in Madhya Pradesh, now all cities will have a complete lockdown of three nights and two days. It will be effective from 6 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. on Monday. This system will remain in force till April 30. The Home Department issued these orders after Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave instructions in a high-level meeting on Thursday. The Chief Minister decided to take drastic measures after reviewing the status of corona infection with senior officials in the meeting. During this, he said that if necessary, container zones will be built in big cities. Disaster management groups of all the districts should meet and take a decision based on the circumstances of the district. In all cities, it has become necessary to put a lockdown from 6 o’clock on Friday evening to 6 o’clock in the morning on Monday. The decision in this regard will be taken by the District Election Officer in view of the by-election of Damoh Assembly. The state government entrusted the authority to impose lockdown in Betul, Ratlam, Khargone and Katni by April 17. By evening, collectors in Ratlam, Khargone and Katni announced a lockdown in their districts by 17 April. As of April 16, lockdown orders have already been issued in Chhindwara.

Night Curfew in Delhi

The Kejriwal government has also announced a night curfew in Delhi on Tuesday. With immediate effect, the government has announced a curfew in Delhi from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. till April 30. Those who want to get vaccinated during the night curfew in Delhi will not have any restriction on the traffic movement. Apart from this, shopkeepers associated with ration, grocery, vegetables, milk, medicine will get exemption during the curfew only through e-pass.

Night Curfew and Lockdown in Maharashtra

To curb the growing infection of the coronavirus, the Maharashtra government has imposed a night curfew from Monday night. During this period, all facilities have been completely banned except essential services. At the same time, between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. from Monday to April 30, there will be a ban on the gathering of five or more people in public places. Apart from this, the weekend lockdown has also been imposed in Maharashtra.

Night curfew in Rajasthan too

In Rajasthan, Rajasthan, the number of corona infections is increasing rapidly. The state government has announced a night curfew here from April 6 to 19 to control the infection. Restrictions will be in place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. On the other hand, section 144 has been implemented to deal with the fast-spreading corona infection in the Chittorgarh district.

Complete lockdown in Raipur and Durg in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh is also included in the states where new cases of Kovid have increased. Due to this, the state government has taken a big decision and announced a lockdown. However, this lockdown is being imposed only in Raipur. A complete lockdown has been announced from April 9 to 19 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Raipur Collector S. Bharti Dasan said that keeping in mind the situation of Corona, Raipur district is being declared as a Containment Area from 6 p.m. on April 9 to 6 a.m. on April 19. During this period all the boundaries of the district will remain sealed. The lockdown has been implemented from Tuesday in Durg district of the state in view of increasing cases of coronavirus infection, which will last till April 14.

Punjab imposes night curfew

The Punjab government has announced the imposition of a night curfew in the state till April 30. This curfew will be applicable in all districts of the state. Night curfew will start from 9 p.m. and will be in force till 5 a.m. Earlier, the night curfew was applicable only in 12 districts of the state till April 10, but now it has been announced to apply in this entire state.
