New Delhi: Coronavirus in India: The outbreak of the second wave of Coronavirus infection continues in India. According to the Health Ministry data, 2,57,299 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of positive cases has increased to 2,62,89,290. For the past few days, the number of people recovering from corona infection has increased compared to new cases in the country, but the death toll remains a matter of concern. After 4,194 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths due to corona infection in the country has increased to 2,95,525.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of discharges was 2,30,70,365 after 3,57,630 new discharges. The total number of active cases in the country is 29,23,400. During this time, full attention is also being paid to vaccination and screening to stop the pace of corona infection. So far, 19,33,72,819 people have been given Corona Vaccine in India. At the same time, 20,66,285 record samples have been examined in the last 24 hours. So far, 32,64,84,155 samples have been tested in the country.
