First monkeypox death: After the corona virus, now monkeypox infection is spreading in 78 countries of the world including India. Monkeypox patients have also been found in India. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man has died in Thrissur, Kerala on Saturday morning. The deceased was found to have symptoms of monkeypox and had recently returned to India after traveling to the United Arab Emirates.

There has been an uproar in the health department after the death following symptoms of monkeypox. Regarding the death, Kerala Health Minister Veena George said on Sunday that the cause of death of the person would be investigated. After the swab test report of the youth came, he said that he was not suffering from any other disease or health problem. Experts are investigating the cause of his death regarding death without any disease. He also told that it will also be investigated as to what was the reason why he was admitted to the hospital so late after his return from UAE on 21 July.

During this, he said that monkeypox is not as contagious as the corona virus. He also said that deaths from monkeypox are comparatively less. That is why we will investigate that what is the reason behind the death of the young man when he was not suffering from any other disease, he said. During this, he also told about the symptoms of monkeypox and ways to prevent it. Minister Veena George also informed that necessary steps are being taken for its prevention and treatment in Kerala.

Symptoms of monkeypox found in a child in Andhra Pradesh

Meanwhile, symptoms of monkeypox have been found in an eight-year-old child in Andhra Pradesh as well. Officials of the state health department gave this information. He said that the samples of the patient from Guntur have been sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune for examination. At present, he is undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of the Government Hospital (GGH), Guntur. Also, there have also been reports of an Ethiopian national suspected of monkeypox during an investigation at the Bengaluru airport earlier this month. He has been confirmed to have chickenpox.

These are the symptoms

According to the World Health Organization, the symptoms of monkeypox begin to appear within 6 to 13 days. Although sometimes it can take 5 to 21 days. If infected, symptoms like fever, headache, fatigue and back pain appear within the next 5 days. The skin rash starts appearing within three days of fever. Monkeypox may be spreading like Corona but it is not as deadly as Kovid. Do not panic if you see the symptoms of monkeypox. Understand the condition of monkeypox from the symptoms and get treatment.
