Pakistan: Bilawal Bhutto in the grip of Covid-19, tweet informtion

Pakistan’s leading opposition leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday confirmed that Covid-19 was infected. He said that the test results for novel corona virus have come out positive. Bilawal, the 32-year-old son of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who has held the post of Prime Minister twice in the country, is the head of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). He gave this information by tweeting. He wrote, ‘My result for Covid-19 has come positive and after that I have isolated myself.’ He also said that for this they have very few symptoms and they will work from home. Apart from this, he said that he will address PPP Foundation Day through video link.

In the tweet, he has also appealed people to wear masks. On Wednesday, after the confirmation of his political secretary Jamil Soomro being infected, he decided to stay away from political activities. Bilawal has just returned from Karachi. He was on a month-long election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan for the November 15 election. On 22 November, PPP President Bilawal also participated in the anti-government rally organized in Peshawar by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

The city administration refused to hold this rally in view of the Covid-19 transition. Let us know that on Thursday, total cases of corona virus infection in Pakistan were 386,198. A total of 3,306 new infection cases were reported from across the country in the last 24 hours and the number of deaths during this period was 40. With this, the number of infected people dying so far has reached 7,843. The number of patients recovering from infection is now 396,198 and there are 43,963 active cases in the country.
