South Korean automaker Kia has launched its new electric taxi — Carens Clavis SUV EV — in India. This vehicle is specially designed for fleet operations like taxi services, corporate cabs and other mobility platforms.
The estimated price of this EV is between ₹18-₹20 lakh, which makes it an attractive and affordable option in the segment.
Design and features
Carens Clavis EV comes with a very sleek, modern and premium look reflecting Kia’s signature design language. Moreover, this EV has sufficient space, comfortable seating and user-friendly features, making it a reliable option for fleet operators.
The vehicle comes with a seven-seat capacity and a spacious interior designed for long-range trips.
This car was introduced in the international market earlier this year and according to data up to May, a total of 58% of buyers opted for the petrol variant while 42% chose the diesel variant. In addition, 28% of customers opted for the sunroof variant to enhance their journey.
