BHU: Firoz Khan gets first position in Ayurveda department interview amid controversy

Firoz Khan appeared in an Ayurveda department interview on Friday amid the ongoing controversy over the appointment of Firoz Khan, a Muslim teacher in the Faculty of Sanskrit Sciences of Banaras Hindu University. The chairman of the Ayurveda department said that Feroze Khan has secured the first position in this interview.

Students did the movement

It is worth mentioning that recently, Dr. Firoz Khan was appointed to the Faculty of Sanskrit Science and Religion. Since the appointment, the students here started a protest against the appointment of non-Hindu teachers. A sit-in demonstration was also held for several days. Although now the students have finished the sit-in, the agitation against the appointment of Feroze Khan is still going on.

A statement from BHU has been issued on Friday by Dr. Firoz Khan, appointed in BHU’s Sanskrit Science and Religion Science Faculty. In which he has accused the media of unnecessary speculation regarding his appointment. Firoz Khan said that he is reading such news in newspapers in the coming days, in which the information about him is not being told right. Some news about where they are staying, whom they are meeting or under whose protection, is being constantly unnecessary speculation.
