The second phase of the budget session of Parliament is starting from Monday today. The session starts at a time when violence has taken place in Delhi. Although the situation in Delhi is becoming normal, but politics is starting to heat up for the Parliament session. On the one hand, while the opposition party is united to surround the government on violence and economy, the ruling BJP has prepared to respond to the opposition. There has been a clear indication from the opposition that during the session, the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah will also be demanded.
Congress will explore with Amit Shah’s demand for resignation
Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi demanded the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah.
In such a situation, this issue is likely to prevail at the beginning of the session. However, it is difficult to say which parties will support the Congress on the demand of Amit Shah’s resignation. The opposition will demand from the Modi government to make changes in the Citizenship Amendment Act and the NPR. However, it is clear from the government’s stand that it is not going to bow down to the opposition’s attack.
PM Modi has rejected the demand for CAA withdrawal
RJD Rajya Sabha member Manoj Jha clearly said that Parliament cannot remain a mute spectator on such incidents. We will raise our voice together. The Congress and other opposition parties have already expressed their opposition by giving a memorandum to President Ramnath Kovind on this issue. The government is also preparing a strategy to respond to the opposition’s attack. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have already completely rejected the demand to withdraw the citizenship law several times.
The remaining process to pass the budget will be completed
Significantly, the second phase of the parliament will be held till April 3. During this period, the remaining procedures to pass the general budget will be completed. The budget session began on 31 January with the President’s address to the joint sitting of the two houses. The first phase of the budget session was completed on 11 February. Tributes will also be paid to him in the Lok Sabha on the first day today due to the demise of Lok Sabha MP Baijnath Mahato from the Balmiki Nagar area of Bihar.
