New Delhi: The process of joint army recruitment of six districts of Agra and Aligarh division on March 17 in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh has been postponed once again due to fear of corona virus. This step has been taken after the district administration requested the army to postpone this recruitment process. Applications were sought from the youths of Agra, Aligarh, Hathras, Kasganj, Mathura and Firozabad districts under Agra and Aligarh division for recruitment in the army.
The recruitment process was to begin at Mathura’s Eagle Ground from 17 March. In this regard, 1.21 lakh youths from six districts had applied and there was complete preparation from the army as well.
Recruitment process has already been postponed
It is worth mentioning that earlier in February, due to Uttar Pradesh Board examinations and Holi events in the district, military recruitment has been postponed. The recruitment process was to be started for a week from February 6.
