Coronavirus update: India reports 1.73 lakh new cases, 2.84 lakh recoveries

New Delhi: The second wave of coronavirus is becoming weaker in the country. There is a steady decline in daily cases. In the last 24 hours, 1.90 lakh cases of corona have been reported in the country, which is the lowest in the last 45 days. Together, the total number of Covid-19 cases in India has increased to 2.77 crore. At the same time, 30,62,747 vaccines of Coronavirus have been planted in the country in the last 24 hours, after which the total vaccination figure has increased to 20,89,02,445.

According to data from the Union Health Ministry, the total number of positive cases has increased to 2,77,29,247 after 1,73,790 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. The figure for total deaths has increased to 3,22,512 after 3,617 new deaths during this period. At the same time, the total number of discharges was 2,51,78,011 after 2,84,601 new discharges. The total number of active cases in the country is 22,28,724. The daily positivity rate has been recorded 8.36 per cent, down from 10 per cent for the fifth consecutive day.

People are being investigated on a war footing against the corona infection in the country. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 20,80,000 samples were tested on Friday in the country. At the same time, a total of 34,11,19,909 samples have been tested so far.
