Delhi Corona Cases: Corona decreases in Delhi, less than 500 new cases for the first time in 7 months

The people of Delhi are getting good news at the start of the new year. On Friday, the Expert Committee recommended approval of the Oxford Corona vaccine for use in emergencies. Meanwhile, for the first time in nearly 7 months, fewer than 500 new corona cases have been reported in the capital Delhi.

494 new corona cases in Delhi
According to the latest figures, 494 new corona cases have been reported in Delhi. During this period, 14 people died due to corona infection, while 496 people got rid of corona infection. As of early May 17, fewer than 500 Corona cases were reported in Delhi.

Positivity rate reduced to 0.73 percent, active case 5,342
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain also reported this in a tweet. He tweeted that for the first time in 7 months after May 17, fewer than 500 Corona cases have come to light. The positivity rate has also dropped to 0.73% from 15.26% on November 7. The positivity rate has been below one percent for the past 11 consecutive days. Active cases are also down to 5,342 on Nov. 13 from 44,456.

Corona vaccine will be free nationwide along with Delhi
Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has made a big announcement amid the Corona vaccine trial that is taking place across the country. He said the corona vaccine will be installed at no cost across the country. Speaking to reporters after taking stock of the Corona vaccine trial in Delhi, Harshvardhan said that not only in Delhi, the Corona vaccine will be installed nationwide for free.
