Delhi government pension scheme: Many schemes are being taken out by the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government for the people. In such a situation, now a new scheme is coming out for the elderly and the disabled, where a pension card will now be issued for them.
Let us inform that in Delhi, more attention is being paid to the elderly and the differently-abled, due to which a new scheme has been brought. In this scheme, the government will issue a pension card and with this the process of pension application will also be simplified. In such a situation, the Social Welfare Minister of Delhi Government, Rajendra Pal Gautam has said that he has directed the officials to release pension to the elderly and disabled in a time bound manner.
Along with this, the government will soon issue a pension card for the pension to the elderly and the disabled. However, the Delhi government currently gives a pension of ₹2,500 each to 4.42 lakh elderly people and 1.14 lakh disabled persons every month. But due to this scheme, now the government will make the path of pension for the elderly and disabled more easy.
For this scheme, Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam held a meeting with the senior officers of the department on Tuesday and took complete information about the pension being issued to the elderly and disabled. Along with this, he directed the officers that special care should be taken for the convenience of the beneficiaries and pension should be released to them in the right time and manner.
In fact, more impact is being exerted in this scheme because the elderly and differently-abled wait eagerly every month and in such a situation, if they do not get money on time, then they cannot survive. Therefore, it is the duty of the government to ensure that they get their pension on time, so that they can buy the items they need in time.
