Internet suspended in Kashmir on the occasion of ” Mohammad Maqbool Bhat’s” death anniversary

After restoring 2G services on 25th January, following a five month shutdown, authorities snapped the services on Tuesday, in light of potential law and disturbance on the 26th death anniversary of JKLF founder Mohammad Maqbool Bhat.

The services were suspended early morning in response to bandh called out by the separatist outfits to commemorate the death anniversary of Bhat.

Prior to this, the services were also suspended on Sunday after the separatists had called for a shutdown to mark the death anniversary of Parliament convict Mohammad Afzal Guru.
