According to government sources, discussions are being held to impose lockdown — the entire lockdown, weekend lockdown, one-week lockdown, 10-day lockdown — in different parts of the state as per along with section-144 and night curfew. Several states, including Delhi, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and UP, have already announced a separate lockdown following the direction of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to take the decision of lockdown at the state level.
While in Uttar Pradesh, the Allahabad High Court on the previous day ordered the government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to impose lockdown in five cities. In Jharkhand, capital Ranchi and other districts of the states are self-locking themselves to break the chain of Coronavirus infection. So far, thousands of shops have been closed in 10 districts of the state.
Soren announced the closure of all schools, colleges, coaching, ITIs, training centres and Anganwadi centres in Jharkhand till the next order. Then the Chief Minister said that the government has taken several decisions at the primary level to prevent corona infection. More stringent decisions will be taken under special circumstances when necessary. Along with this, Soren banned the JPSC examination of Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Matriculation and Inter examination of Jharkhand Academic Council Jack with immediate effect. The Chief Minister said that all the school entrance and institutional examinations to be held in the coming months have been postponed.
Special Corona test campaign across on April 22
A special test drive will be launched on April 22 to identify the maximum corona infected patients in the state. In this campaign, corona will be screened with a rapid antigen test of potential patients. In this, migrant labourers, health workers, police personnel, shopkeepers, people working in the hot markets, the sick, the elderly, etc. will be tested on a large scale. National Health Campaign Director Ravi Shankar Shukla has issued orders to all the Deputy Commissioners in this regard.
The need for a large number of beds will increase
Here, a large number of new patients are likely to be emerged in a day due to the corona examination of a large number of people in a special screening campaign. A large number of these patients can also be serious. In such a situation, a large number of beds may be required by April 22. Its arrangement will have to be prepared in advance. However, the Director of the campaign has also asked all the Deputy Commissioners to review the beds due to the possibility of getting infected in large numbers in the investigation.
