Maharashtra: 7 killed in Ulhasnagar building collapse (Video)

Ulhasnagar: Ulhasnagar building collapse: 7 people have died in Ulhasnagar in Thane district of Maharashtra on Friday, while one person is said to be injured. According to the information received, the incident took place around 9 p.m. on Friday. The middle part of the Sai Shakti Building at Nehru Chowk in Ulhasnagar collapsed. After the accident, there was an atmosphere of chaos. Apart from the local people, the jawans of the fire brigade, the rescue teams and the police force rushed to the spot to help and an attempt was made to evacuate the people.

In this incident, the bodies of seven people have been removed so far, while a man is said to be injured. Some people are still feared trapped in the building.

According to the information received, the middle part of the building collapsed which includes five more floors with a ground floor. Relief and rescue work is still going on.
