Muslim board says 99 percent Muslim reconsideration petition in Ayodhya case

All India Muslim Personal Law Board General Secretary Maulana Wali Rahmani said that 99 percent of Muslims in India want a reconsideration petition to be filed in the Ayodhya dispute.
He said that Muslims have unwavering faith in the judiciary. This is why a review petition is being filed. He said that if someone says that most Muslims do not want this, then it is wrong.

Rahmani said that some people also suspect that our petition will be rejected, but that does not mean that we should not file it at all. This is our legal right.

He said that there are many contradictory points in the decision of the Supreme Court. Asked if some people suggested that this decades-old dispute should end, Rahmani said that these are people who had no attachment to the mosque.

They live in fear and want to bring others in the same situation. He said that intellectuals who talk like this should be asked what they are doing for the Muslim community.
