NITI Aayog officer found Corona positive, office building sealed for two days

Cases of corona infection are increasing in the country. Everyone, from the common people to the officer class, is falling prey to it. On Tuesday, a NITI Aayog official was found to be Corona positive. Deputy Secretary in NITI Aayog gave this information.

He said that after the matter came to the fore, steps were being taken following the proper protocol. The entire building has been sealed for two days so that sanitization work can be done.

Another officer said that the corona virus test of a director level officer working in ‘Niti Bhavan’ was found positive. He got the report of his corona virus getting infected at nine o’clock on Tuesday morning. He then informed the authorities. Kumar said that the people who came in contact with him have been asked to live separately.

He said, ‘We are following all the mandatory protocols. The Ministry of Health has been informed. All procedures will be followed. So now we have closed the building for 48 hours. ‘

The headquarters of the Ministry of Civil Aviation was also sealed recently. There too, an employee was found infected with the corona virus, who went to office on 15 April.

1543 new cases, 62 deaths in 24 hours

The number of patients infected with the corona virus is increasing continuously across the country. According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the last 24 hours, 1543 new cases have been reported and 62 people have died, the highest ever.

Now the total number of Corona positive cases across the country has risen to 29,435, of which 21,632 are active, 6,869 people have recovered or have been discharged from hospital and 934 have died.
