COVID-19: Police Inspector Devendra Chandravanshi dies of Corona in Indore
The death toll due to Corona virus is increasing in the country. Covid-19 has caused the highest number of deaths in Madhya Pradesh after Maharashtra. Meanwhile, Inspector Devendra Chandravanshi, the station in-charge , lost the battle to the coronavirus in Indore.
Cases of health workers as well as policemen are also exposed to this deadly virus. At the same time, Indore of Madhya Pradesh remains a hotspot of corona virus. In the past few days, many health workers and policemen have come to Covid-19 infection. Which also included Police Inspector Devendra Chandravanshi.
Inspector Chandravanshi was admitted to the hospital after his Corona Report came positive. Chandravanshi Juni, 45, was the police station in-charge of Indore Police Station. He was undergoing treatment at Arvindo Hospital for the last 10 days. However, he died during treatment at 3 pm.
Chandravanshi became SI in 2007
Inspector Chandravanshi had pneumonia after being hit by a corona infection. He was a resident of Shajapur district and became SI in 2007. He was undergoing treatment at Aurobindo Hospital after being corona positive. During this time, two of his reports came negative. He was the first police officer in the city to be infected. After this, the report of the constable living with them also came positive. As a precautionary measure, all employees were quarantined.
Rapid improvement in health
Police officers were recovering rapidly during Corona’s treatment. His health recovered after two reports came in negative. However, he was having trouble breathing due to weak lungs. He suffered a heart attack at around 2.30 pm on Saturday-Sunday.
DGP increased his spirits
DGP Vivek Johar came to Indore after the police officer got corona infected. He encouraged all policemen by reaching the police station. Many other police officers, including the SP, talked to him on the phone daily and knew his well-being.
Discharges were to happen today
Police station incharge Chandravanshi was hospitalized for 19 days. He was admitted on 30 March. His first report came positive. After that two reports were negative. Health deteriorated once but then started improving. On 13 and 15 April, after his report came in negative, he was considered to be discharged from the hospital. But at 11.30 last night, there was a sudden breath and the heart rate increased. According to Dr. Vinod Bhandari, he has had pulmonary ambulism which is a type of heart attack. This also happens to ordinary people. This is the real reason for his death. He was to be discharged from the hospital today.
One woman also dies
Meanwhile, Chief Medical and Health Officer Praveen Jadia said that a 70-year-old woman died in a private hospital on Friday in another case of death due to COVID-19 in the district. With the death of the police inspector and this woman, the number of patients who died after this infection in the district has risen to 49.
