Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has termed the social media a ‘Belagaam Ghoda’ (Horse without rein) and urged the Bharatiya Janata Party workers to be ready to control it.

He said that the media keeps a close watch on the entire system. The nature of media has changed a lot in the last two decades. After print media, visual media, now social media is also playing a big role. Social media has no parent, so be alert. This media is influencing the whole system. Today, the posts running on social media are becoming a matter of debate in print and electronic media. Social media is also being used to spoil the environment of the country. It is being used to divert attention from issues. Today the role of social media has increased a lot. The opposition is more active on this media. The opposition does not want to discuss issues of public interest. During the Corona period, when the epidemic and employment could be discussed, but the opposition did not allow Parliament to run by raising the issue of Pegasus. Before the Lok Sabha elections, an attempt was made to influence the election by raising the issue of Rafale.

Talking about the Ram Temple he said that the Ram temple issue in Ayodhya was resolved peacefully. People used to say that rivers of blood would flow if the verdict came in favor of the temple. The solution was found and not a single mosquito died. This is Ram Rajya. Today no one is trying to make Kairana anywhere in the state. Earlier, there used to be one riot in the state on an average every third day, now there has not been a single riot in four and a half years.
