Chandigarh: Covid Brand Ambassador: Filmstar Sonu Sood, who emerged as the messiah for migrant labourers during the Corona lockdown, has officially become the brand ambassador for the Corona vaccine in Punjab. Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has announced to make Sonu Sood a brand ambassador. Sood arrived at his residence on Sunday to meet the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister said, “There can be no better person than Sonu Sood to inspire and influence people to apply Covid vaccine. In Punjab, some people are very hesitant about the vaccine. Sonu Sood is popular among people. At the time of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, Sonu Sood, who contributed immensely in bringing safe house to thousands of migrant workers, will clear the suspicion of the vaccine.
He said, “When people hear from the son of Punjab about the benefits of the vaccine, how safe and important the vaccine is, then they will believe it because people trust them.” On this occasion, Sonu Sood said that he is happy to be the brand ambassador of this life-saving vaccine. He said, “I consider myself fortunate to be a part of this comprehensive campaign of the Punjab government to protect the lives of the people of my home state.”
On this occasion, Sonu Sood also presented his book ‘I am no messiah’ to the Chief Minister. Which he told that the experiences from Moga to Mumbai have been written in it. He said, “I truly say I am no protector. I am an ordinary man, who is giving a humble contribution to the big plans of God on his behalf. During this time, if I could improve the life of any man in any way, then for this I can say that I have the grace of God, who is guiding me in performing my duty.
