Pak Vs US T20: Pakistan Collapses at 26/3 against American bowlers

Pak Vs US T20: Pakistan’s batting order crashed at the hands of American bowlers, giving them an edge in the T20 World Cup. During Sunday’s match between Pakistan and the USA in Group A of this year’s T20 World Cup which began on 2nd October, we all were stunned.

The cricket enthusiasts were eager to see how United States will do against Pakistan especially after winning a toss and choosing to bowl first. There was an expectation that Pakistan would dominate and set up a mammoth total. However, the game changed with American bowlers delivering excellent performance.

Pakistan’s batsmen found it hard to cope with the disciplined bowling and sharp fielding of their opponents from America. The 9 runs scored by opening batsman Mohammad Rizwan, 3 runs put up by Usman Khan, and Fakhar Zaman scoring 11 runs indicated that within no time, Pakistan had fallen down precariously at 26 for 3 amid their fans’ disbelief.
Presently, Captain Babar Azam and Shadab Khan are struggling to steady the innings and save their team from this dire situation. According to former Pakistani captain Wasim Akram, the American bowlers were very smart in their approach. He pointed out that the American team made good use of left arm spinners against Pakistan’s right-handed batting order.

It is recognized that Akram admired the strategy used by Americans in this case regarding Pakistan’s weaknesses. This superb showing by USA has raised excitement levels around the tournament and kept fans on tenterhooks, waiting for more action later.
