Patriotic spirit resonates at Republic Day celebration in Jai Vihar

Amidst the election fervor, a grand Republic Day celebration was held in Jai Vihar, Baprola, with great enthusiasm. Organised by the social organization Panchkoshi Foundation, the event honored local ex-servicemen and inspired a sense of patriotism among the attendees.

A highlight of the event was the quiz competition, “10 Questions for the Nation,” organized for school children. Young participants showcased their brilliance, with Muskan securing the first position, Pratyush coming second, and Aarushi achieving third place. Additionally, a drawing competition on the theme of “Equality” saw Zainab Khatoon, Mahika Singh, and Praneet winning the first, second, and third prizes, respectively. The winners were awarded trophies, medals, and certificates to encourage their talents.

The celebration was graced by the presence of the regional MLA and other prominent members of society. Sushil Kumar Dev, President of Panchkosi Foundation, shared that, as with every year, this year’s event witnessed active participation from five local schools and numerous children from the colony. The day began with a morning procession by ex-servicemen and children, echoing patriotic slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” creating a charged atmosphere of national pride across the area.

Parents, teachers, and spectators enjoyed the event, paying homage to the sacrifices of brave soldiers. The patriotic programs left a lasting impression on the audience.

The success of the event was attributed to the collective efforts of key members of the organisation, including Rajendra Kumar, Jitendra Lal, Sunil Tiwari, Umashankar, Vinod Singh, Pradeep Arya, Omprakash Giri, Shridhar Gupta, and Ankit Pandit, whose contributions were acknowledged with gratitude.
