SolarEdge established its presence in India in 2017 and since then the company has brought modern technologies like PV inverters, power optimisers, energy storage systems and cloud-based monitoring platforms to Indian customers. These solutions are suitable not only for residential users but also for commercial and small-scale utility projects.
Earlier this month, the company released its first quarter (Q1) earnings report for financial year 2025. The company reported revenue of $219.5 million (about ₹2,000 crore) in this quarter, which is about 7.5% higher than Wall Street estimates.
SolarEdge provides solar inverters, power optimisers and energy storage systems for residential, commercial and industrial projects worldwide. In Q1 2025, the company supplied 1.2 gigawatts alternating current (GWac) of inverters and 180 MWh of batteries, reflecting the global reach and technical capability of its operations.
