The ICC has said that the tickets for the India-Pak match in the Twenty20 World Cup have been sold out. Usman Khawaja, Multicultural Ambassador of the Twenty20 World Cup, said that 80 percent of the tickets were bought by people living in Australia.
The India-Pakistan Twenty20 World Cup match is on October 23. ICC put the standing room tickets on sale on Thursday. 4000 standing room tickets were put in front of the fans on a first-come, first-served basis.
The general tickets for the India-Pak match were already sold out earlier this year. General tickets went on sale in February. ICC informed that the tickets were sold out in 5 minutes.Australia is hosting the World Cup but it will be its own World Cup for people from different backgrounds. From the ticket sales of the India-Pakistan match, we can understand that 80 percent of these fans are from Australia. Usman Khawaja said that this is a great opportunity for fans who come from different backgrounds.
