India’s Suryakumar Yadav has moved up to the second spot in the T20 rankings for batsmen released on Wednesday. Earlier he was at number 5. He is just 2 points behind T20’s number one batsman Babar Azam of Pakistan.
He scored 76 runs in 44 balls in the third T20 International against West Indies on Tuesday itself. Suryakumar got the player of the match award in the third T20 against West Indies.
Surya’s form is very well
Suryakumar now has 816 rating points. He has scored 111 runs in three matches of the five T20 series against the Windies.
West Indies batsman Brendon King, England’s Jonny Bairstow have also benefited a lot in the rankings. Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is at the 66th position in the rankings.
South African spinner Tabrez Shamsi, who took eight wickets in the series against England, has moved up the rankings for T20 bowlers and has moved up to the second spot. He garnered 19 rating points due to his impressive performance against England.
Shamsi, who was at the top for the period from April to October last year, is now behind top-ranked Josh Hazlewood, who tops the list with 792 ratings.
