Tesla’s first entry in India: Over 600 bookings, Maharashtra minister becomes first customer

American electric car maker Tesla has finally made its official debut in India. The company's first showroom was opened in Mumbai and on this occasion Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik was given the delivery of his Model Y Tesla. He had booked this car about two months ago.
