Corona’s cry: Twitter’s 5,000 employees will work from home, Google event also cancelled

New Delhi: The corona virus, which originated from China, has reached many countries of the world including India. A corona patient has also been confirmed in the country’s capital. At the same time, a large private school has been closed as a precautionary measure in Noida. The micro-blogging site Twitter has also allowed all its 5,000 employees to work from home in the wake of the corona virus. Twitter has said in a statement that all employees in Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea can work from home.

Twitter also forbids employees to travel unnecessarily. Twitter said, “We are working to ensure that all the meetings are online.” Earlier, the company had prohibited its employees from traveling abroad.

Google and Microsoft events were also cancelled

At the same time, Google and Microsoft have also canceled their two big events for fear of Corona virus, including Microsoft’s MVP Summit and Google’s Cloud Conference. This event of Google takes place every year which is based on Cloud and G Suite.

Earlier on Thursday, Facebook said that the F8, a preventive annual developer of Corona virus, is canceled. About 5,000 people attended the Facebook F8 conference held last year in California on May 5-6. The company has said that the event will be held online and video will be released. Facebook also confirmed that China’s business trip has also been banned due to the Corona virus.
