According to this decision, students of class 1 to 8 studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya who have got E grade in the final result can be promoted to the next class without any examination. According to the rules, students have to appear for such improvement examination, but this time it will not be done.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Samiti (KVS) has announced the promotion of all students from classes 1 to 8 studying in Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country, even if they have appeared in the annual annual examination. This time the Kendriya Vidyalaya has also arranged that the result of classes 1 to 8 will be announced to parents or guardians through WhatsApp, SMS, Email etc.
Students of classes 1 and 2 can be promoted to the next class based on their performance in the Monthly Achievement Test. At the same time, students from class 3 to 8 can be promoted by weightage in subjects in which they could not appear in the session ending examinations.
Students from class 1 to 8 who have got E grade in the final result can be promoted to the next class without any examination. In the normal scenario, such students have to appear for an improvement test.
Explain that due to Corona virus epidemic, the examination could not be conducted, that is why KVS has taken these steps. Please tell that most of the boards have postponed the results, for many boards, examinations have also been postponed. On the other hand, Bihar Board has become the first board to declare the result as it has declared the result of class 12.
