To celebrate this day, people wear scary attires and distribute gifts by going door-to-door. Meanwhile, children also visit every house in their vicinity with a bag shaped like a Pumpkin and receive chocolates from their neighbours and relatives. Halloween 2022: To celebrate this day people make Halloween theme shaped candies, Halloween cakes, novelty candy shaped like skulls, pumpkins, bats and insects etc. There are also pumpkin pies, pumpkin bread, pound cakes, popcorn, ramekins stuffed with pumpkin puree, roasted pumpkin seeds and sweet corn, and spirit-shaped cakes. The festival of Halloween originally included carvings of turnips because it was inspired by a legend of Stingy Jack, who is said to have trapped Satan, only to let him go on a strict condition that he would never go to hell. When Irish people or immigrants took the idea to America, they began using pumpkins instead of turnips.
