Honda has not yet revealed the new date for the event. It is estimated that the company can showcase the 2020 Honda City online in the coming days. It is to be launched in India in April 2020.

This 5-seater car will be available in three variants V, VX and ZX. Like the current model, it will not be given the base variant SV.
Like the current model, the new Honda City will also get 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines equipped with BS6 Norms. Its petrol engine will generate 121 PS of power, which will be two PS more than before. The company has not yet disclosed its torque figure. Please tell that Honda City currently gives torque of 145 Nm. With the engine, it will continue to get manual and CVT gearboxes. The current city offers a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) option with the engine. At the same time, a 6-speed transmission can be given with the engine in 2020 city.
Information related to the output of the diesel engine of the new Honda City has not been revealed. It is estimated that its power output may be similar to the current model. The current model has a 1.5-liter diesel engine that comes with 100 PS and 200 Nm of power tuning. Along with the engine, it gets a 6-speed manual transmission option. It is estimated that in the City 2020, the option of CVT gearbox with diesel engine can also be given.
Honda’s upcoming car will be bigger than before. Its length will be 4569 millimeters, width 1748 millimeters and height 1489 millimeters. In this sense, it will be 129 mm longer, 53 mm wider and 6 mm shorter than the current model. There will be no change in its wheelbase. Its wheelbase will be 2600 mm as before.
It can also feature features such as six airbags, EBD with antilock braking system (ABS), LED headlamps, sunroof, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, digital instrument cluster and connected car technology.
The company has not yet disclosed its price. It is expected that the price of 2020 Honda City can be between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). In the segment, it will compete with Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid and Toyota Yaris and Hyundai Verna as before.
